When devastating floods hit Pakistan, Jaiyana* and her family lost everything. They were left with no home or livelihood and had very little to eat. Baby Jaiyana became sick, weak, and stopped breastfeeding. Her mother brought her to a Save the Children health clinic, where she was diagnosed with severe acute malnutrition and immediately treated with medicine and high-nutrient therapeutic food. Jaiyana has since improved and continues her malnutrition treatment to fully recover.
