After the devastating earthquakes in southern Türkiye in early 2023, the lives of Zehra* and her family were severely affected. They lost loved ones and their home is uninhabitable. Now the mother-of-six lives with her husband and children in a tent. Obtaining sanitary and hygiene items has become increasingly difficult. With 3 daughters, Zehra and her family have a critical need for sanitary pads, underwear, and cleaning products, particularly during the height of summer.

Save the Children worked with its partners to provide hygiene kits to Zehra and her family with hand sanitizer, wet wipes, hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, sanitary pads, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
