Pregnancy and childbirth complications are one of the leading causes of death for girls in Mali, Niger, and Sierra Leone. The FOUNDATIONS project provides sexual and reproductive health services and education to girls in these three countries.

FOUNDATIONS Gifts of Joy support girls to learn their rights, stay in school, and decide whether to marry and have children.

The Government of Canada will match FOUNDATIONS gifts 20 TIMES for 20 times the impact until December 31.
