Every girl has the right to an education. Too often, families can’t afford to keep their daughters in school and feel compelled to consider early marriage. Staying in school delays marriage and childbirth, and provides girls with an opportunity to become self-sufficient. Books, learning materials, and access to education allow a girl to pursue her dreams.

Lunch provided at school is sometimes the only meal a child receives each day. Provide a month of school lunches for two children so they can focus on learning and not their hungry bellies.

Children displaced by war, natural disasters, and other emergencies lose access to education, which limits their ability to succeed later in life. Provide a temporary classroom within a displacement camp for multiple children whose schooling has been disrupted.

Help young women and youth in vulnerable situations gain trade-specific skills so they are prepared to enter the work force or launch their own businesses. Our programs offer: financial and entrepreneurial training, including climate-resilient and environmentally-friendly business practices; technical one-on-one business mentorship; links with peer networks, markets, and financial services; and seed funding to kick-start business development.
